Extra fact: the largest cut diamond in the world is a golden diamond, the Golden Jubilee Diamond, at 545.67 ctw. Sourced from a DeBeers mine in South Africa, the stone is now a part of the crown jewels of Thailand. Colored diamonds, in general, are rarer than colorless diamonds, with only about 0.1% of all diamonds displaying natural color variations.
